When we connect to our present moment and are willing to acknowledge our thoughts and emotions in order to treat them with kindness, we are practising mindfulness.
I have some questions for you.
- Do your emotions cause you difficulty?
- Are you confused by your emotional reactions?
- Do you feel out of control at times?
- Do you struggle to communicate your needs and wants with others?
- Do you feel unable to “control” your emotions?
- Would you like to understand your emotions?
Learning Mindfulness can help.
Welcome to the Mindfulness Project
What if you could have a clearer picture of your life? What if you could develop emotional understanding?
As you develop mindfulness you can begin to observe and nurture yourself through hard times. You will be able to more clearly recognise what is important to you. And you will develop the ability to reduce your reactivity.
This is the development of mindfulness.
At The Connected Center, I am passionate about reconnecting people with their truth and empowering them to design lives that are joyful.
A 4-week course focusing on YOU:
Individual Sessions
4 x 1-hour individual sessions with Araluen a Mindfulness Coach.
We will create room and kindness for your emotions by firstly observing them and the unique way they present.
Secondly, we begin to recognise your emotions and begin to develop an understanding of where they come from and why they are showing up for us.
Lastly, we learn to allow them to be, with loving-kindness, including breath work and yoga.
The sessions will equip you to develop a mindfulness practice of your own.
You will learn how to notice the present moment and observe your life with loving kindness through our work together.

About Araluen and the Connected Center
Araluen helped me navigate through many things.
Learning how to be kind to and have compassion for myself has been so important.
She provided gentle guidance in my personal discovery and re-definition. She customized her approach to what was most suitable for me. I felt a connection that I have not previously found with other Counselors. She has also helped me establish a good framework for positive changes and personal development in the future.
Thanks so much, Araluen.
Jess
It feels great to know how far I have come.
A lot has happened in my life in the last year, some things I am still adjusting to.
I am in a much happier place now.
